History
1980
The school formally known as Information Computer Systems Institute was
originally formed in 1980.
The first training sessions began in the early 80's through contracts with Lehigh
Valley Manpower Program for the training of students under the Comprehensive
Employment Act (CETA). Evening courses were also developed to train small
businesses in computer operations and computer programming.
December, 1981
The School received its state license from the Pennsylvania State Board of
Private Business Schools. At that time, evening courses were opened to the
general public. The first daytime career program was offered to the general
public in April,1982
January, 1984
Information Computer Systems Institute received its accreditation from
the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges of Technology
(ACCSCT).
Since then, the School has enhanced its original training program by
expanding into computer network training (IT), developing new career programs in
the areas of MCSE ands A+ Certification.
2005
ICSI expanded its curriculum once again, and is now known as Pennsylvania
School of Business (PSB), offering specialized career education in Information
Technology, Business Administration, Office Administration, Medical Information
Technology. Career programs and individual courses are available both day and
evening.
